Ascent Trip Report

I don't think the CDT is as mapped. Nonetheless, it starts from the road to Jack's Peak and it ends up on Burro after a somewhat more switchbacky meandering but still brief route. Several candidate clusters of rocks amongst the trees compete for the HP status. The BM is easily found.

The roads here are a bit sandy and high clearance would probably be a good idea though I think you can get by with 2WD. The road goes through and crosses several washes so you would clearly want to avoid it during and after any rains.
