Ascent Trip Report

I used beta from Richard Carey's site for this one. Note that the turnoff from Hwy 318 is barely north of milepost 24. On the drive, you can take either fork at the major split. I think the right is shorter; if you take it go left at the T-intersection at the top of the ridge as the right fork deteriorates and goes to Weepah Spring.

The hike is straightforward. I believe the best approach on the summit block goes around its north side to the northwest of the peak, and scrambles up easily from there.
