Ascent Trip ReportThis was my first serious overnight backpacking endeavour: Zealand Road - Zealand Hut - Zealand - Guyot Campground - Bond - Bondcliff, overnight at Guyot Campground, then back the next day. This was a classic White Mountains trip, first on well-maintained trail to Zealand Hut along some lovely beaver-dammed lakes, then progressively harder and more rugged as we ventured into the Pemigewasset Wilderness. The stretch from Zealand to Bondcliff was certainly no less challenging than the Presidentials in terms of ruggedness, although with marginally better exposure.
