Ascent Trip ReportWent hiking for the day with a few folks from SMG program. Started out of Boston at 730AM. After a quick miscalculation as to the trailhead, we got started at 1115AM. The hike up Carter-Moriah trail was steady, relatively steep and a mix of forest floor and open ledges. Arrived at the top and had decent views of the Presidential Range, a few clouds though. After a quick stop at the summit we started down to make sure we made it back before dark. Not too many people on the mountain.
After finishing we stopped in Twin Mountain for some pizza and got back to Boston at about 11PM. Long day.
