Ascent Trip ReportA short hike to a nice viewpoint of the Salt Lake City area. A monument on top commemorates the Mormon Pioneers. The park at the trailhead, in a residential neighborhood, is very nicely maintained. I did this hike a day after a big rainstorm and the trail was very muddy. I had to constantly scrape mud off my shoes or else they would start weighing 10 pounds each.
