Ascent Trip Report... exploring Hemlock Drive for a start point to Area 2 and after my experience with Salem & Cumberland Counties, I began my hike & drive (with my phone's GPS directing car) to reach all five area high points (HP) in one fell swoop with Tower Road as my first trail head (TH) up to Area 1; of the 81 minutes & 8.91 miles total, my driving took up 27 minutes & 7.34 miles. At Area 1, following the fence line requires the least quick effort to a yard (my stop point) and residential home's back porch (seeming HP); at Area 2, herd path at times flagged leads up to a large clearing with many intersecting ATV trails with the HP across the field and then west by another trail; at the last 3 Areas, state wildlife area driven roads lead into and along to the HPs (my trip peaking at Area 3). I followed old ATV paths back to pass by final two areas in mostly open woods even crossing an avoided blue-blazed trail wanting to reach back to main wood road and my paved start. Ocean County completes my tramp to the twenty-one NJ Cty HPs which began at High Point, New Year's Day 1999.
