Ascent Trip ReportWe came in from Greenwater on good mapped roads to the obvious jumping off point for Blowout. Saw several hikers on the trail, all of them thru hikers. Obviously easy well maintained trail since it is the PCT. We took it up until just below the summit and then easily strolled through open forest to the top. Views from up top of this area which is not the most scenic, but still somewhat decent. Easy peasy. Good option for a possible rainy day. Weather actually held out pretty well. Sadly, Nancy's mirror on her car was smashed when we returned to the car and we had to put in some work to get that as salveable as can be. Made a half-hearted effort at Pyramid and then bailed to burgers.
