| Elevation:||259 m / 850 ft|
Ascent Trip ReportThe highest point in Gateshead Unitary Authority and previously of the whole of Tyne and Wear County Council.
A spot height in a muddy field, although it seemed marginally higher closer to the road to the north (no crops this time of year so I wandered around with altimeter in hand!). Great views over the Tyne Valley and Durham Dales. Also visited the equally high area 1 km west near the old water tower.
