Ascent Trip Report

NE Ridge route. First 3rd of the climb is chossy and crappy. Rock quality gets better as you go. Easy, low-5th class, simul-climbed some of the last 3rd. Descend the South Ridge scramble route. Approach can contain some steep hard snow, so we took crampons and ice axes, but you have to carry them over the summit, which means a heavy pack while you climb. Pick your poison I guess. Nice camping at Wing Lake, very beautiful area. Great views from the summit and during the ridge climb. Test all your holds, there is a lot of loose rock.
