Ascent Trip Report

A quiet day in the mountains with Monadnock nearly deserted at my summitting, while quite solitaire at my descent toward Monte Rosa. Cairns needed to be searched for, to keep to trail in a slight drizzle and fog from the low clouds. Monte Rosa's weather vane quite an amusing surprise in the foggy, late afternoon breeze.
