Ascent Trip Report

FS road 9070 is a bit rough, probably want a high clearance vehicle. The Forester did ok, but wouldn't want anything much smaller. Hike PCT a little less than 2 miles to the turnoff on the right, marked with a cairn. Trail climbs steeply for about .5 mi to a junction that splits left to Tinkham and right to Silver. about another .5 to the summit. Trail is well-traveled and easy to follow. No running water available at this point. Generally class 1, used my hands a couple of times. My beagle got up just fine. Bugs at the summit. Nice short trip with great views!
