Ascent Trip ReportThis was a great hike to bag the whole Wildcat Range. There was a large stream crossing right before the actual trailhead, one fall and the trip would have ended there. There were spots on this hike that almost could have involved technical rock climbing it was so steep. The sun was out when I started, but it began to drizzle, and eventually rain once I made it to the ski lift. I met a through hiker on this trail, a female in her 60's that I spoke with for 15-20 minutes. Sadly 2 weeks later I learned that she never made it to her meetup point with her husband, and is now lost. I have heard nothing since, and pray for her and her family that she found her way.
