Ascent Trip ReportTacoma Mountaineers Intermediate Climbing Class, Ice 1 Field Trip. We had hoped for hard snow and/or ice on the ascent of the north face but there was nothing but soft snow all of the way up. Swung leads on the ascent protected with pickets and ice axe anchors which often could be driven all of the way in by hand. Scrambled to the summit from the top of the snow field and descended the scramble route to the east.
