Ascent Trip Report

Well, finding the Technical College campus is easy. For the uninitiated, very close to the intersection of US-33 and OH-540. When you drive onto the campus, you can park there in the parking lot that you'll see just off to your left. The flagpole there is NOT the one you're looking for. Standing in the parking lot with the flag pole to your back, you'll see higher ground and a little road that leads to the left of another building. Head up there, and the high point is behind the building. There are some shaded benches, another flag pole, a USGS marker, as well as some signage. There are also two drawers that may or may not contain a sign-in sheet and brochures the day you're there.

FYI, you can technically drive almost up to the high point. However, there are no parking spaces up there, and keep in mind you're a visitor at someone else's school.
