Ascent Trip Report

There are 2 summits that contend for the high point here. I think the southern one is maybe 10 ft higher. Access to the peaks is through a maze of logging roads, clearcuts, and active logging. Buy a forest map and take lots of notes about the roads, so that you can get back out. The easiest way to get in is probably from FR 33 that goes south from Powers. Be prepared for a long drive on logging roads that are well maintained and well used. Remember logging trucks always have the right of way.

The northern summit is an easy short little bushwhack to the high point. The southern summit requires about a 200 ft steep climb through the forest. No views rom either summit.
