Ascent Trip Report

Laurenz and I wanted to explore the back country of Yellowstone National Park and the very friendly rangers advised us to hike Mt Holmes. The trip to the camp was a bit strenuous but we had a very rewarding night with elks roaring. We even met a Grizzly on our way up to Mt Holmes. The views to for example Electric Peak were great and the multitude of peaks in Montana looked very tempting.
