Ascent Trip ReportThis was a great ascent - perfect weather and views.
The trail starts at the Mahogany Flat campground, but a 4WD is needed to reach it. I was able to get my Honda Civic to the Thorndike Campground which adds about 3/4 of a mile each way and 650' of elevation gain.
The trail was well maintained and easy to follow.
