Ascent Trip Report

Jefferson Notch Road to Summit via Caps Ridge Trail. Clear and pleasant weather. A little breezy. Broke treeline just before 1st cap. Trail is ruff and steep to summit from here. Had to put the sticks away to do the caps. Hand over hand required. Slowed down alot at this point. This is a very exposed section as well as the final ascent to the summit. Marker is on the western pile at the top. Headed over to summit Mt Clay. Pretty intense 2.4 miles up. Caps Ridge is what it claimed to be.
