Ascent Trip Report

North Mtn was not an easy climb for me, lots of driving first thing to find the State Game Rd gated at Mtn Rd (might make a nice twelve mile round-trip bike), more exploration driving, then uncertainty about starting out another posted, gated road but fortunately found myself in quick striking distance to summit, tho going wrong a couple of times, like straight thru 4-way tote road jct, by short cutting into old wood roads north then east southeast (from what I'm calling Pritz Rd) reaching to summit ridge and the State Game Rd junction / parking just below summit, the first of eight this trip to complete "Mid-Atlantic with 25 Miles of Isolation" (the posted gate open getting back to trailhead).
