Ascent Trip Report

A group of ten from the Santiam Alpine Club left around 7:00 am from Marble Mountain. Two turned back at Chocolate Falls after struggling with colds. Two more turned back around the prominent seismic monitoring station on the winter route. At that point, two of our group (myself included) split left to gain Monitor Ridge which we followed on a more or less direct line to the summit. Excellent glissading for most of the descent.
