Ascent Trip ReportAMC Spring Beginners Backpacking Program. Stayed at the Garfield Ridge Campsite. 3600 feet of gain. 2.4 mph. Hot as hell on the way up on Saturday and even hotter on the way down on Sunday. Fortunately we got an early start, ate breakfast at the summit, and then got back to our cars before the hottest part of the day.
