Ascent Trip Report

I drove up from White Lake at exit 296 on I-90 with low foggy clouds. I turned off County Road 11 onto 241st west and drove past the last occupied houses around. There were a few pheasants running around. I went to the north point first which is kitty corner from an electrical transformer that works with power from all of the wind turbines around here. It looked like a spooky forest of them with fog covering all but the bottom of one blade on each of them. I parked at a dip in the road and ran up to the top. There was indeed rocks and cactus in two spots ten feet apart as Dan Nielsen wrote. I ran back and then drove back to 241st and parked near the dark blue tank. There is not fence here so I ran out to find the second point. It was around the north or east side of the wind turbine nearest the blue tank. This was a pretty fun highpoint for being in gridded fields.
