Ascent Trip ReportThe last in a series of 6 summits visited over a day in the Vosges, each with a prominence >150m.
Starting from the small village of le Grand Valtin, it was possible to drive near to the summit on a good dirt road. Eventually some parking spots are reached and the summit tower can be seen. Going directly up the slope on soft grass, I reached the top in 10 minutes. Limited views were available to the east, with the summit buildings on Le Hohneck recognisable. I descended quickly and drove home.
