Ascent Trip Report

A drive up with a short wack ....... 200 yards RT

I visited this County after visiting Hardy Benchmark (Jasper County).

From the intersection of hwy #96/R255 (10 miles north of Jasper) it is 4.9 miles east on R255 to CR232 (a left here takes you to Hardy Benchmark) and after another 2.6 miles on R255 is CR1067 on the left. We turned left and drove north 2.1 miles to a right turn on CR1105, .68 miles (passed Weeks Settlement) east took a sharp right on CR1106, .12 miles parked at the Communication Tower entrance to the right. This was my TH.
The HP is to the southwest at 100 yards, beyond the solid Tower with the large building. No restrictive signs.

I bushwacked southwest (fairly open pines with underbrush), around the fenced-in tower, to obvious high ground, however "the" spot is not obvious. I stomped the area to my satisfaction. There are old tracks and 3 steel posts in the area but I couldn't find/or-understand Roy Schweiker's reference in his TR "...... boundary pin in the middle of the highest area so it is....."

"MAY JOY AND PEACE SURROUND YOU, CONTENTMENT LATCH YOUR DOOR,
AND HAPPINESS BE WITH YOU, AND BLESS YOU EVER MORE." .........irish saying
