Ascent Trip ReportDecided to go big on the last day of our December vacation - and went for Garfield, Galehead and Twins. Parked at 5 corners and went to Little River Rd. Not many views to be had - but a nice day on the trails - managed my temperature well, and never got real tired - found the groove early and was steady all day - even breaking trail across the PUDS of Garfield ridge and up the steeps to South Twin. Met Becca at the start of the Frost trail and Hiker Ed and Sandy by the big crossing descending N Twin. They had packed out the Twins (phew). Enjoyable day with Jeff.
