Ascent of Eston Nab on 2007-07-31
|Date:||Tuesday, July 31, 2007|
|Ascent Type:||Successful Summit Attained|
| Elevation:||242 m / 794 ft|
Ascent Trip ReportParked in Eston, crossed the A174 via the cage-enclosed footbridge, then steeply uphill, past a burnt-out car, to the graffiti-covered trig point. Probably more pleasant to approach from the SW through the Country Park. Returned the same way and amazingly our car was still there. The point of doing this hill, if one is needed, is the stunning view over Teesside and the coast; furthermore it is a HuMP (hundred metre prominence hill).
