Ascent of Lindley Moor on 2012-12-29
|Date:||Saturday, December 29, 2012|
|Ascent Type:||Successful Summit Attained|
| Elevation:||291 m / 958 ft|
Ascent Trip ReportA splendid multi-family crepuscular outing to walk off some of the Christmas excesses and exercise the dogs. The aesthetically superior summit is the trig point atop a rocky outcrop - a modest challenge given the greasy nature of the stone. However this point is only 291 metres whereas the true HuMP is a 292m spot height a little to the west, just near the telecommunications compound with its intriguing "Keep Out Poisonous Snakes" sign; I assume we're talking adders rather than black mambas.
