Ascent Trip Report

We started this hike under solid overcast skies, trekking up and into the thick fog as it swirled in and out of the Alpental valley. Less than 500 ft below summit, we broke through the cloud ceiling and were greeted with dozens of snow-capped peaks poking through an ocean of clouds.
