Ascent Trip ReportHere is a fun fact:
Mount Tabor is the only volcano in the USA to be located completely within a major city.
I approached from the west side. Although I drove up most of the way to the top (until reaching a gate), most of the roadways and trails were being used by hikers, dog owners, and bicyclers. The park has free entry, but there is a nice, small visitor center (with park ranger!) approximately 2/3 of the way up the road.
