Ascent Trip ReportStarted at the Jefferson Trailhead. First hint of Winter. The weather was cold at the base and below freezing and very cloudy windy at the peak. You couldn't see the caps from one another until you got close. A couple of times the sun would come out and the views would be perfect momentarily. There was a lot of frost on rocks and evergreens exposed to the direct wind/cloud. But no frost on the ground luckily. All in all, I can't wait for snow to be on the ground. Great hike in all.
