Ascent of Jeff Davis Peak on 2012-09-15| Others in Party: | BMS 914 Anji Cerney Melinda Hernandez Collin Kamholz Jose Witt Austin Hubbuch
| | Date: | Saturday, September 15, 2012 | | Ascent Type: | Successful Summit Attained | | Peak: | Jeff Davis Peak | | Location: | USA-Nevada | | Elevation: | 12771 ft / 3892 m |
Ascent Trip ReportJeff Davis appears to be a huge pile of rocks, mostly about a cubic foot in size but with plenty larger and smaller. The route from Wheeler is the easiest choice for an ascent/descent route, since the terrain on the ridge is more level, so the rocks are more stable there.
