Ascent Trip Report

First time I've taken a boat to a trail head. Lake George is gorgeous. Visit it if you can - highly recommended.

1:50pm - Tied up the boat at the pier near the trail head and started up the trail.
2:55pm - Summit. Beautiful views north and south of Lake George.
3:20pm - Depart Summit.
4:35pm - Back at the boat enjoying a cold beer.

Why did it seem/take longer on the descent???
