Ascent Trip Report

The Becky route description works. Start in the middle of the East face and take it 20 vertical feet... picking the easiest ramp that trends upwards... and a way magically appears to take you to the high point to the right of the summit. Easy, exposed ridge to the cairn marking the summit (just in case you don't realize when you arrive :). If you're pulling 5th class moves, you're like off - and will get into trouble because of the quality of the rock.

We backed up the sketchy second rap station (flake, with a crack at the base) with a nut donated to the gods of Boston on the way down.

The summit register dates back to 1961, is full sized and leather bound, with interesting poetry the mountain inspired in climbers. This alone makes the trip worthwhile :D
