Ascent Trip Report

Went into Spooner Lake Picnic Area (cost $1 per person or $3 per car) and up North Canyon to saddle then up dirt road to peak. Came down proposed Tahoe Rim Trail 2.4 miles to where it was complete by following flags and continued on great trail down to Spooner Summit then back down S side of Spooner Lake to parking area off Hwy 50 just past Hwy 28, (No signs for paying on way down) then walked along pavement to cars.
