Ascent Trip Report

Left trailhead at Van Vleck Ranch at 10:45AM, heading east along Highland Trail up to Forni Lake. Continued a few hundred yards up toward Tells and bore off to the right, reaching near the top of the bump between Tells and McConnell. Went down west side of ridge through brush and over boulders below then up to saddle between bump and McConnell. Followed Class 2-3 ridge up to McConnell, but found no register. Register was found on higher point a few hundred yards to the south. Then went NW and down to just above boulders below saddle and around to a few hundred feet above a small lake, then up a hundred feet or so to top of ridge and then down to Forni Lake and then out along Highland Trail.
