This was a Sierra Peaks Section trip led by Doug Mantle, Bob Hicks and Duane McRuer. On day one, we backpacked from South Fork campground up the South Fork of the Kaweah River, then up an old, abandoned trail along Cedar Creek and over a saddle to Cahoon Meadows, where we set up camp. On day two, the group day hiked west cross country to the peak. After returning to camp, the group backpacked out to the trailhead.
