Ascent Trip Report

we went as a Random Group of Hikers meetup. The trails were wet and slippery from the previous days rain. The bog bridges were extremely slippery. Lots of standing mud as well. The rattle river trail had a couple of easy step-overs and the river was rock hoppable.

I only had one confusing spot, at the first major river crossing past the rattle river shelter, the trail seem to cross the river as well as continue straight on the same side of river. We decided to cross the river which was the correct way. Up a little farther, the trail crossed back over the river so I can only assume that the other trail was a bushwhack to avoid the two river crossings when the river is high.
