Ascent Trip ReportWe hit the trail Sunday afternoon with the plans of setting up camp at the first Phelps campsite just acrossed the high water bridge. We had a great night with no bear encounters and great weather. We hit the trail around 6am. We took a break to enjoy the view at Indian Falls, and the started the boring 1.8 miles to the next junction, but from there it was exciting due to the awesome views of our goal. It was very windy on the summit, so we took our pictures and found refuge on bathe leeward side of the summit. The views were absolutely phenomenol. The trip back was just a long rocky descent, with no issues.
