Ascent Trip Report

I approached Ferguson Mountain from the town of Beatty on hwy 140. In Beatty turn north on Godowa Springs Road, go about 2 miles and turn right on Sycan Road. The pavement ends in about 1.5 miles and then go about another 1.5 miles and go right on the signed Five Mile Ranch Road. Turn right on Pack Saddle Road, pass the first road to the right in .3 mile and turn right on the second road in another .3 mile which is Bullard Road. Go about .3 mile up Bullard, turn right and go another .2 mile, then turn left on a leseer road. Go up this road about .3 mile to a cleared area and park.

I hiked up the continuation of the road that you can see going right towards the summit. This road soon turns right and I left the road and hiked directly up the slope. I crossed several old logging roads as I hiked up. There is a little brush in spots, but it is easy to avoid. The summit is a rocky/brushy area but it has good views.
