Ascent Trip ReportDavid and I set our sights on número uno Mt. Marcy, started off on the VanHov at 8:30 A.M. Trail is in good shape and a new bridge just below the old Marcy Dam makes for a short re-route. Lots of people on the trail and just before the summit we caught up to a group of young adults who came over from the Olympic Training Facility. Probably 30 people at the summit. Time up was just shy of 4 hours. Marcy is number 29 for me towards becoming a 46r.
