Ascent Trip Report

Alternating overcast and sunny day - one of those thunderstorm summer days. It wasn't too warm but I was dripping from the humidity I guess. Nice hike up - not too steep and even level in places. If you want the views, you have to take the yellowloop trail around the summit. There are 2 or 3 viepoints on the loop trail. The shelter is a pretty place to sit and relax. The summit is not far from the intersection of the red trail and yellow loop trail on th eway up, but it is a wooded summit. Took my time and had a nice rest at the shelter. The trip down was really quick.
