Ascent Trip Report

We spent Friday night at Ridge Lake for the fun of it rather than do a one day climb. On Saturday morning we climbed the East ridge to the summit in 2.5 hrs from camp. One rappel gets you past a 20 ft 4th class pitch. We also used the second rappel anchor that's at the base of the first rappel. We could have traversed back the way we came and down climbed though. We skipped the third rappel anchor. It's a fun scramble on a locally prominent peak. I'd like to climb the West ridge sometime.
