Ascent Trip ReportWhile following the AT on my way toward Mt. Rogers, I took the Wilburn Ridge Trail along this ridge. The trail spurs off from the AT and runs roughly parallel to the AT until rejoining it after a mile. This is a rugged trail, and there was a short scramble up to the high point of the ridge.
