Ascent Trip Report

I followed the nice trail from Steve Creek TH to Sucker Gap and then turned south up the ridge towards Pyramid Peak. After nearly an hour of bushwhacking and route finding and covering about .75 mile, I decided that I would try another route another day. It was still about 1.5 mile of bushwhacking to the summit. Beautiful area along the trail with old growth trees including Sugar Pine, Douglas Fir, Cedar, and the elusive Brewer Spruce.
