Ascent Trip Report

AMC organized and led hike. Great group of people. Route: Avalon Trail to A-Z Trail to Mt. Tom to Willey Range Trail to Mt. Field to Willey Range Trail to Mt. Willey. Return trip Mt. Willey to Willey Range Trail to Mt. Field to Avalon Trail to Mt. Avalon to Avalon Trail to trailhead. We parked at the Crawford Depot. Group consisted of eight. Weather was warm and humid. Brought 2 liters of water but could've drank 3-4 liters. Brought a sandwich, banana, trail mix and 2 Rice Krispee treats. Plenty of food. Saw some gray jays and had some interaction with them on the summit of Mt. Field.
