Ascent Trip Report

Drove to Tray Gap with intention of climbing Breir Creek Bald. The road beyond Tray GAp was closed. I decided to make a quick trip up to the top of Tray. When I got back to Tray Gap, I decided to make the 1/2 mile road hike to Whetstone Gap and climb BrierCreek Bald. It was a fairly easy hike up an unmaintained trail. There was a half inch of snow on the ground in the shady areas.
