Ascent Trip ReportDrove up from the 1500 Bethel Ridge Road. All public. The approach is shorter from US 12 than from 410 but the extra distance on 410 is paved and time needed is similar. Good road, passenger cars can do it. The turnoff for the Timberwolf Road was marked, 1500190 is road #. Hit snow just before the top. All of the sudden, there was a 20 foot snowbank as the road hit the ridgeline. Wind-loaded snowbanks on this side of the ridge and those won't melt out until August I suspect. In any event, no worries to walk it and bootpath to W of road right on ridge. Open with good views to the area. This would be a good place to car camp in good weather. Or as a spring/snowshoe type trip if you could find a way to get close enough early in season. Lookout is gone.
