Ascent Trip Report

This was an easy hike with some great views. The spur "road" was very questionable from the main road (Bodie Mountain Road?), and looked like it hadn't been driven much in years. From the pass north of the peak we followed the fence until it ended at the rocky, class 2 slope about 75' below the summit.

From the summit one could see Bridgeport Reservoir and Mono Lake, as well the Sierras, the White Mountains, Mount Grant in Nevada, Mount Patterson, and more.
