Ascent Trip ReportWow, do not underestimate the need to bring water on this 4.2 mile hike or start the hike in the morning when you know it's going to be a hot summer day. It was 92 when I started and by the time I got to the top 80 minutes later it felt like it was 115. Pretty view once you walk just beyond the HP marker to the overlook. Stop in the museum at Kenton, OK along your way and talk with the older gentleman who runs it. He is one of 3 Kenton natives (which only has a population of 21) and has a wealth of history on the area.
