Ascent Trip Report

Used Dennis Poulin's report - see http://www.peakbagger.com/climber/ascent.aspx?aid=85490. Dennis's report includes a GPS track that shows where the trail is (it's not shown on most topo maps).

I would add that the trail takes off just to the right of the large sign, and is neither of the old roads but an actual trail.

Driving: From Selma on US199 take Deer Creek Road (watch the signs, it's not always straight ahead at junctions) about 8-1/4 miles to the end of county maintenance (sign, road narrows) and continue another 1/2 mile to a junction - go right, following sign to Kerby Peak Trail. In another 1/2 mile go left (unsigned when we were there) and follow good gravel road to the well-signed trailhead at the junction with a topo map elevation of 2949'. Good trail to summit.
